E‑commerce Photoshoot (Blank Background)

Spykar came to us with racks of their new season collection and a very clear vision: they wanted every piece to look exactly as it would when it reached the customer’s hands. No distractions, no mood backdrops, just crisp, white backgrounds that made their denim and apparel pop. The team wanted consistency across hundreds of SKUs, from fit to colour, so a customer browsing online could trust that what they saw was exactly what they’d get.

What we did

  • Built a catalogue style‑guide (angles per category: front/back/45°, details; denim fold standards; ghost‑mannequin vs flat‑lay decision tree).
  • Lighting: large soft sources with flags for crease control; polarising filters for denim sheen consistency; colour‑checker workflow.
  • Production line: steaming, linting, pinning, mannequin swaps, and a live Capture One session with on‑set QA.
  • Created action presets for exposure/white balance and a tethered approval pipeline with Spykar’s merchandisers.

Deliverables

  • Web‑ready JPGs on pure white (#FFFFFF), layered PSD masters with clipping paths.
  • Shadow variants (natural/drop), invisible‑mannequin composites.
  • SKU‑based file naming, metadata, and size crops for marketplaces.
  • A mini handover deck: dos/don’ts, retouch checklists, and re‑shoot triggers.
